Provider review

Fountain TRT review

By Derek Olsson ·

Bundled TRT care with 4, 12 or 48-week commitments

Public plan totals are easy to compare, but the TRT homepage uses monthly language. Confirm the selected billing interval and optional charges before agreeing to renewals.

Straight talk: how we earn — some, not all, of these are affiliate links; start a program through one and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Straight about the rest, too: the write-ups say what each provider is actually worth, and a commission does not change a word of them. Full disclosure here.

On this page

The verdict

Fountain TRT offers lab testing and a live video evaluation before a clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate. Its program page publishes three term totals, while the TRT homepage describes a monthly cream service, so request the actual prescription, billing interval and renewal invoice before committing. The refund policy allows proration for future prepaid treatment months, with exclusions for shipped medication and past care.

Fountain TRT isn't on any of our comparisons yet. The providers we compare in this category are on our online-TRT provider ranking. Nothing on this page is a performance claim — see peptides and testosterone for what the treatment does and does not do.

Who it is for, and who it is not

A good fit if

  • You want bloodwork and a live video visit before any prescription is written
  • You want to discuss injection, cream and oral treatment options with a clinician
  • Your state and chosen treatment are supported and you prefer bundled monitoring

Look elsewhere if

  • Your state is absent from the TRT homepage's published coverage list
  • You need calendar-month billing without first confirming the selected plan's interval
  • You want the cost of at-home blood collection before you sign up

What it actually costs

What they advertise

Starter $199 per four weeks; Standard $499 per 12 weeks; Pro $1,799 per 48 weeks. These are advertised term totals, not a selected invoice.

What you actually pay, month to month

$199 per four weeks advertised for Starter. The TRT homepage instead says $199 per month; confirm which offer and interval your agreement uses.

The commitment trap

The Standard and Pro four-week equivalents are rounded and require longer terms. Forty-eight weeks is not a calendar year; the monthly homepage wording does not establish a calendar-month invoice for the program-page plans.

Money you will meet later

  • At-home blood collection is an upgrade whose price isn't shown before you sign up
  • Anastrozole and tadalafil are optional add-ons with no published price
  • Subscriptions renew automatically; contact support before the period ends to stop future payments.
  • Remaining future prepaid treatment months can receive a prorated refund under the April 2024 policy; shipped medication and treatment already provided are excluded.

Prices come from Fountain TRT's own website and can change without notice — confirm before you buy. Work out what a vial actually gives you with our peptide dose calculator.

What is included

Compare the total cost, including fees and any minimum commitment. Here is what Fountain TRT bundles in, and what it does not.

Clinician consult

A live two-way video visit with a Fountain provider after your labs come back

before any prescription is written.

Bloodwork / labs

Labs advertised as included; home collection costs extra

The program describes Labcorp testing and monitoring; confirm the funded panel and repeat-testing schedule in your plan.

Follow-ups and dose changes

The TRT homepage describes video follow-ups every three to six months

Confirm the schedule for your prescription and any additional visits.

Human support

Concierge text support advertised, plus phone and email

This does not establish an immediate clinician response for every request.

Injection supplies

Injection supplies, concentration and quantities are not itemized in the public plan totals

Shipping

Two-day shipping advertised after preparation

Confirm dispatch timing, shipment cadence and any charge; this is not a two-day arrival guarantee from enrollment.

Pharmacy, labs and oversight

The pharmacy

Delivery pharmacy is not identified publicly. The terms allow pharmacy choice when prompted; that does not establish the dispenser or regulatory category for a delivered prescription.

Oversight

The TRT homepage describes video follow-ups every three to six months. Confirm the schedule for your prescription and any additional visits.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Our guide to verifying a certificate of analysis covers what to ask for.

Where you can get it

20 states listed; confirm current treatment eligibility. The TRT homepage names Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

The honest cons

The part they would rather you skipped

The TRT homepage's monthly language conflicts with the program page's four-week Starter interval. Thirteen $199 payments total $2,587 over 52 weeks if continuously renewed at that rate; this arithmetic is not a confirmed yearly invoice.

  • The TRT homepage lists 20 states; product and current eligibility need confirmation
  • Lower advertised rates use 12- or 48-week billing terms; confirm when payment is collected
  • The reviewed public pages do not identify the pharmacy assigned to your delivery
  • Disputes go to binding individual arbitration, and class actions are waived

Weigh these trade-offs against the costs, care and terms above. For questions to ask before enrolling, see our vendor red-flags guide.

Questions about Fountain TRT

Is Fountain's $199 price charged each calendar month?

The program page advertises $199 for four weeks, $499 for 12 weeks and $1,799 for 48 weeks. The TRT homepage instead uses monthly wording. Ask which offer governs your agreement; the 48-week term should not be treated as an annual plan.

What does membership include, and what costs extra?

Medication, video visits, labs and support are advertised within membership. At-home collection and optional anastrozole or tadalafil need separate price confirmation. Request an itemized quote covering supplies, delivery and any treatment-specific exclusions.

Which treatment would Fountain prescribe?

Published options include testosterone cypionate injections, topical testosterone cream and enclomiphene. A clinician chooses after evaluation; enclomiphene is a separate treatment option rather than testosterone replacement itself. The public menu does not establish your medication, dose, concentration or quantity.

How do testing and follow-up appointments work?

The described pathway uses lab testing before a live video visit, with Labcorp collection and an at-home upgrade. The TRT homepage describes follow-ups every three to six months. Confirm which initial and repeat tests your membership funds rather than assuming every requested panel is covered.

Can I cancel and recover unused prepaid treatment?

Subscriptions automatically renew, so contact support before the period ends. The April 2024 return policy allows text or email cancellation and proration for remaining future prepaid treatment months. It excludes shipped medication and treatment already provided. A specifically offered evaluation-ineligibility guarantee is separate; ask how already-shipped supply affects your refund.

Who provides care, and can I enroll in my state?

The TRT homepage lists 20 states; confirm your product and location before payment. The terms distinguish nonclinical platform Fountain Vitality from independent Duval Medical, Quaker Ridge Medical, Avalon Medical and Redwood Medical groups. They do not identify your assigned practice or delivery pharmacy; request both.
