The verdict
Hims combines branded GLP-1 access with app-based care, monthly follow-ups, nutrition and exercise guidance, and an opt-in smart scale. The current public menu is more useful for comparing those services than the old compounded-medication reputation. Price each subscription separately: membership buys care access and does not guarantee a prescription. The medication quote can depend on drug, dose and upfront supply. The care model suits someone who values ongoing messaging and tracking enough to pay a separate recurring fee. Before buying a longer supply, read the cancellation provisions: the care charges can continue through medication already shipped. Confirm state availability and your assigned dispenser; a platform-wide pharmacy list is not an order-specific facility verification.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. GLP-1s are not available in all 50 states. The public FAQ does not enumerate the eligible states; confirm availability for your treatment.

The October 2026 public menu reviewed here was branded; a current active compounded offer was not established. That does not prove permanent closure. The September 2025 Hims FDA warning history remains relevant, but it is not a finding of present enforcement or regulatory closeout.
