The verdict
Maves gets the disclosure right in exactly one place and wrong everywhere upstream of it. On the product page the split is stated plainly and correctly: sermorelin is "$120 first month, $160/mo after" on the 3-Month Plan and "$124 first month, $169/mo after" month to month, with the vial spelled out as a "5mL (10mg) vial and homekit included" — the best dose disclosure of the peptide-first sites in this batch. On the homepage, the same product is advertised as "Starting at $120/month" with no first-month caveat anywhere near it, which is 33% below what you actually pay from month two. NAD+ runs the identical pattern ($149 advertised, $169 real). And the site-wide banner and the homepage card cannot agree on the GLP-1 price on the same screen: "$99 first month" against "Starting at $89/month".

Who it is for, and who it is not
A good fit if
- You want the milligrams: a 5 mL 10 mg sermorelin vial with the homekit included is stated outright
- You want the first-month-versus-ongoing split written down — the product pages do it correctly and explicitly
- You want LegitScript seals for both the brand and its parent operator
- You want a published state position: clinicians licensed in all 50 states, US territories explicitly excluded
Look elsewhere if
- You are comparing on the advertised figure — every headline on this site is a first-month promo
- You are buying the "3-Month Plan" expecting three discounted months: only month one is discounted

What you actually pay, month to month
$160 a month for sermorelin on the 3-Month Plan and $169 month to month — both stated on the product page as the rate "after" the first month. NAD+ is $169 on the 3-Month Plan and $179 month to month. The advertised sermorelin figure is 33% below the real one.
The commitment trap
A first-month promo advertised as a monthly rate. "Starting at $120/month" on the homepage is the product page's "$120 first month", after which it is $160/mo. Even the "3-Month Plan" label points the same way — the discount applies to month one only, and months two and three bill at the full $160. Maves also runs two first-order discount badges simultaneously on the NAD+ page, "Save $20 on your first order" and "Save $81 on your first order", which cannot both be true and neither of which reconciles with the $149-to-$169 step.

Not named. Maves says only "Compounded in licensed U.S. pharmacies" and that "your medication is prepared by a licensed U.S. pharmacy", with no 503A or 503B designation. To its credit the FAQ states plainly that compounded medications "are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety or effectiveness". LegitScript seals are displayed for both maveshealth.com and the parent, homerahealth.com.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. The part they would rather you skipped
Every headline price on Maves is a first-month promo dressed as a monthly rate. The homepage says "Sermorelin — Starting at $120/month"; the product page says "$120 first month, $160/mo after". NAD+ does the same thing, $149 advertised against $169 real. So the advertised sermorelin price is 33% below what you pay from month two, and you only find that out one click deeper — which is one click after most people have already decided. The homepage cannot keep its own GLP-1 story straight either: a site-wide banner advertises "$99 first month" directly above a product card advertising "Starting at $89/month" — two different numbers with two different units on one screen. Two different customer ratings sit adjacent in the same hero, which is the same failure of internal review in a different place.
