The verdict

Marek Health suits someone who wants a coach and a medical provider to work from laboratory results before choosing treatment. Its current catalog names testosterone cypionate, tirzepatide and tesamorelin; availability still depends on clinical assessment and location. The entry costs are clearer than the continuing bill: $299 for intake, plus a foundational lab panel starting at $450. The pricing page describes a 45-minute coach session and also says the intake covers the initial medical-provider exam; ask how those appointments are scheduled. Its historical spending examples are useful context, but they are not a prescription-specific TRT quote. Before paying, request the proposed tests, provider fees, medicine quantity and follow-up costs in writing.

The intake is $299 one time, and foundational labs start at $450. Marek also advertises historical averages of about $135 per month in year one and $70 in later years; these describe client spending, not a fixed testosterone plan.

What you actually pay, month to month

TRT needs a prescription-specific quote. The intake and starting lab price add to $749 before any separately priced treatment; the ongoing medicine, quantity, follow-up tests and provider fees depend on your plan.

The commitment trap

The monthly-looking averages do not turn the intake and labs into installments. The pricing page uses different descriptions of what its annual examples include. Ask which charges are included in your written estimate, what is payable now and what can recur.

Money you will meet later

  • Published historical examples are about $1,599 in year one and $850 annually thereafter. They are illustrative rather than a promised annual bill, and the same page separately describes treatment averaging $80–$200 per month.
  • Lab testing starts at $450 and can rise with the selected biomarkers. Additional tests, prescription treatment and supplements are separately purchased; do not assume every future panel is funded by the intake.
  • Marek advertises no subscription and payment for individual services. Its legal terms still make the booking deposit and ordinary web sales nonrefundable, with limited discretionary exceptions.
  • Provider-exam rescheduling needs at least 24 hours notice to avoid a possible fee up to $50; missed visits can also incur that fee. Mobile blood collection has a separate 48-hour cancellation window and possible $50 fees.
  • Itemized HSA/FSA invoices are available, but eligibility is individual. Marek does not bill insurance or generate CPT/ICD-10 codes; an itemized invoice is not a promise of reimbursement.

The pharmacy

Assigned pharmacy is not named on the public pages. The legal documents distinguish Marek Health LLC from affiliated medical practices, including Marek Medical Group P.A., California P.C., 136 New York Medical P.C., Kansas P.A. and New Jersey P.C. The FAQ describes a 503A/503B network using FDA-approved wording, which does not establish FDA approval of a compounding facility or its preparations. Ask for the assigned pharmacy name and prescription details.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. All-state program access has treatment limits. Marek says its program serves U.S. residents in all 50 states, while particular medicines, diagnostics and shipment quantities can be restricted by location. Confirm the specific prescription in your state.

The decision about treatment comes after a meaningful upfront spend. The advertised intake and starting labs total $749, but neither the historical annual averages nor the public formulary tell you what your testosterone prescription will cost. The refund policy also makes the booking deposit nonrefundable. Have Marek distinguish the coach session, medical exam, required tests, later monitoring and medication charges before you commit; a broad treatment catalog does not guarantee eligibility or a particular pharmacy.

Foundational labs are a separate purchase starting at $450, making the advertised starting combination $749 before separately priced treatment. Ask which appointments are included, which tests are required and what is payable if no prescription is offered.

Is the advertised $135 a month the price of TRT?

No. It is an illustrative historical client-spending average for the first year, with a separate example for later years. The pricing page also discusses treatment averaging $80–$200 per month, without a universal testosterone dose or quantity. These figures do not settle your prescription price or every follow-up charge. Request a written estimate that separates intake, initial tests, medicine, repeat testing and provider visits.

Does Marek actually list testosterone and peptide treatments?

Yes. The current treatment catalog names testosterone cypionate as well as tirzepatide, tesamorelin and other therapies. A listing is not a prescription or a guarantee of availability for your diagnosis and state. Discuss the specific product, formulation and intended use with the medical provider; do not infer that everything in the catalog is appropriate for recovery, muscle gain or athletic use.

What physical exams and follow-up tests does the program require?

The FAQ requires an annual physical and accepts a recent physical completed within three months of application. It calls for complete initial labs, follow-up testing and a medical visit within 6–12 weeks of treatment initiation, then routine six-month monitoring with additional care as needed. It also describes general three-to-six-month lab advice. These are program descriptions rather than a personal schedule or a promise that every test is included in one fee.

Who provides care and fills prescriptions?

Marek Health LLC is the platform; its legal documents name affiliated independent medical practices. Your actual prescribing clinician and dispensing pharmacy depend on the care arrangement. The FAQ names regulatory categories rather than an assigned pharmacy. Its FDA-approved phrasing does not establish facility or drug approval. Obtain the practice, clinician and pharmacy names, along with the formulation and quantity, before paying for treatment.

Does no subscription mean I can get every payment refunded?

No. The legal policy treats the provider-exam booking payment as a nonrefundable deposit and ordinary web purchases as final, with discretionary exceptions for some other purchases. Provider-exam rescheduling uses a 24-hour notice rule and possible fees up to $50; mobile blood collection has a separate 48-hour rule. Cancellation without a late fee is not the same as a deposit refund. Confirm the exact terms for each service before booking.
