Readers with an existing prescription can compare coupon prices without buying the weight-loss care subscription. Readers seeking ongoing treatment can use Care Direct, currently advertised at $39/month plus medication. That makes the smallest advertised combined bill $188/month at an eligible $149 drug tier, not $39. Brand-name oral and injectable options are offered, with dose and introductory-fill restrictions that matter more to an ongoing budget than the lowest card price.

Care Direct weight-loss care is $39/month, with medication separate. Advertised drug floors are $149 for the Wegovy pill or Foundayo, $199 for introductory Wegovy pens and $299 for Zepbound KwikPen; dose and offer restrictions apply.
What you actually pay, month to month
From $188/month for care plus a $149 drug tier. This adds the $39 recurring care fee to an eligible entry-dose medication price. Wegovy pens are $238 combined for the eligible first two fills, then $388 when the medication rises to $349; Wegovy HD is $438 with its $399 drug price. Zepbound KwikPen starts at $338 combined. These are cash arithmetic examples, not guaranteed prescription quotes.
The commitment trap
A coupon is not clinical care, and a care membership is not medication. The lowest drug price may apply only to selected doses or the first two eligible fills.
Money you will meet later
- Wegovy pill pricing is $149 at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg and from $299 at higher doses. Foundayo is $149 at 0.8 or 2.5 mg, $199 at 5.5 mg and $299 at higher doses under the published offer.
- Wegovy pen’s $199 offer applies to the first two fills at 0.25 or 0.5 mg, then $349; its offer and the stated Foundayo promotion run through December 31, 2026. Wegovy HD is $399 per carton, with two- and three-carton totals of $798 and $1,197 before care.
- Drug and telehealth charges are separate. The weight-loss billing guide describes future telehealth billing every 30 days, while medication renewal guidance uses 28-day prescriptions before a stable-dose follow-up schedule.
- Cancel at least one day before the subscription renews. The Care Direct terms make paid telehealth visits and prescriptions non-refundable; longer subscription cycles in the general terms are not proof of a weight-loss prepayment discount.

GoodRx administers the platform; clinical services are delivered by third-party medical groups. Its terms name HeyDoctor medical groups and Wheel Medical with associated groups, rather than promising one assigned clinician or practice to every patient.
Bloodwork / labs
No included lab allowance or fixed testing price stated
Ask the treating clinician whether results are needed and who pays for testing. A separate savings membership’s laboratory discounts should not be counted as laboratory coverage in the $39 weight-loss subscription.

The help center lists telephone support seven days a week, 6 a.m.–9 p.m. Central. A dedicated dietitian, live coaching schedule or round-the-clock clinical response guarantee is not included in the weight-loss price description.

Oral tablets, injection pens and vials have different equipment needs; confirm what the pharmacy supplies and whether anything must be purchased separately.
Shipping
Pickup and mail-order options depend on the medication
The shipping guide says the mail pharmacy contacts patients for payment, then dispatches within two to three business days. That is a processing estimate after pharmacy payment, not a delivery guarantee from enrollment. No universal shipping charge is established.
Pharmacy, labs and oversight
The pharmacy
Brand-name medications; dispensing depends on the route. Care Direct’s general terms name Birdi, HealthDyne, Truepill doing business as FuzeRx, and Honeybee Health among its pharmacies, without establishing an assigned GLP-1 facility. The weight-loss guide separately identifies LillyDirect for Zepbound vials and distinguishes retail pen transfers from vials that cannot transfer to retail. Coupons use participating pharmacies. No compounded-drug option is advertised for the weight-loss subscription.
Oversight

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Where you can get it
Care Direct weight loss excludes Alabama and Louisiana. That program-specific restriction differs from the nationwide pharmacy-savings service; a participating pharmacy in a state does not establish telehealth eligibility there. Confirm current clinical eligibility and the medication’s dispensing options before joining.
The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
The entry prices understate what many continuing patients will budget. A $149 tablet tier is not every dose, the $199 Wegovy pen rate lasts only two eligible fills, and $39/month remains a separate care charge. Compare the full maintenance bill with an existing clinician and coupon-only route before buying ongoing care you may already have.

What does $149 medication actually cost with care?
At an eligible $149 drug tier, adding $39/month care gives $188/month. Higher doses, different products and expiring offers can change the pharmacy bill.
Does $199 Wegovy continue indefinitely?
No. The pen offer covers the first two eligible fills at 0.25 or 0.5 mg, then increases to $349 for medication. With $39 care, those amounts are $238 and $388. The stated offer ends December 31, 2026.
Can I get weight-loss care in every state?
Care Direct’s weight-loss program excludes Alabama and Louisiana. That restriction concerns clinical treatment, not the separate pharmacy coupon service.
How do cancellation and refills work?
