Ro’s care membership starts at $39, then $149 each month or $74–$99 monthly equivalents on prepaid terms. Medication is extra: current public menus include Wegovy and Foundayo pills, Wegovy pens and Zepbound KwikPen, with dose-specific cash prices and insurance support for selected injections.

The verdict
Ro makes the two parts of its price explicit: a recurring care membership and a separate drug bill. Membership starts at $39 for the first month and continues at $149 on the monthly plan; prepaid three-, six- and twelve-month options display lower monthly equivalents. Public medication menus now show dose ladders, so there is no need to start a medical assessment just to see higher-dose advertised cash prices. The current cash menu focuses on FDA-approved brands; older general terms mention compounding during shortages but do not establish a current compounded offer. Membership includes provider messaging, check-ins, coaching, insurance navigation and clinician-ordered labs, subject to additional-service fees described in the terms. Care comes through affiliated medical practices; the pharmacy network includes Roman Health Pharmacy LLC and partners, with LillyDirect routes for eligible Lilly prescriptions and local-pharmacy pickup possible for some insured prescriptions. Ro’s general licensing is nationwide, but its help center lists Ro Body exclusions in Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Virginia. Cancel membership at least 48 hours before renewal. Paid membership fees generally are nonrefundable and continue even if you stop requesting medication, so lower prepaid rates should be weighed against the commitment.

The commitment trap
The $39 is introductory care only. The $74 rate requires annual prepayment, and every medication price sits on top. Dose-dependent prices and limited manufacturer offers mean a starting drug price is not a permanent treatment total.

- Wegovy pill cash menu: 1.5 mg $149, 4 mg $199, 9 or 25 mg $299 per advertised month, plus care membership.
- Foundayo pill cash menu: 0.8 mg $149; 2.5 mg promotional $149 versus $199; 5.5 mg promotional $199 versus $299; 9 mg $299; 14.5 mg or 17.2 mg $299 with manufacturer offer. The 2.5 mg and 5.5 mg offer requires enrollment through December 31, 2026.

- Prepaid care equivalent arithmetic is $297 for three months, $534 for six and $888 for twelve at the displayed rounded rates; confirm the actual billed term total. Paid membership generally is nonrefundable and renews unless canceled at least 48 hours ahead.
- Prescription products are final sale under the general return policy; filling errors can be raised with support. This is separate from the initial clinical-ineligibility membership refund.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Where you can get it
Ro Body exclusions: HI, LA, MS and VA. The help center lists these despite general licensing in all 50 states plus DC; compounded semaglutide has additional listed exclusions. Eligibility remains product- and clinician-dependent.
The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
A cheap-looking medication price still needs the separate membership. Prepayment lowers the care equivalent but ties up money in a generally nonrefundable term; stopping medication does not cancel membership billing. Higher-dose drug prices and introductory manufacturer discounts can change the combined total.

Is $39 or $74 the complete treatment price?
No. Care is $39 for month one then $149 monthly. The $99, $89 and $74 monthly equivalents require prepaid three-, six- or twelve-month terms, with medication extra. Multiplying rounded rates gives $297, $534 and $888, not a verified selected invoice. At a $149 starting pill price, $188 initially and $298 later are conditional examples, not a permanent dose price or annual bill.
Do pill and injection prices stay fixed at every dose?
No. Wegovy pill is $149 at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg and $299 at 9 or 25 mg. Foundayo is $149–$299: 2.5 mg is $149 promotional versus $199 regular, and 5.5 mg $199 versus $299, with enrollment valid until December 31, 2026. Eligible Wegovy pen 0.25/0.5 mg enrollment valid until December 31, 2026 gives $199 for the first two months versus $349 regular; 1–2.4 mg is $349 and 7.2 mg $399. Zepbound KwikPen is $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5–15 mg with the applicable manufacturer offer. These medication-only cash prices are not dose recommendations or insurance copays.
Does stopping medication end membership or refund a prepaid term?
No. Membership continues without medication requests and is generally nonrefundable once paid; cancel at least 48 hours before renewal. If medication is never prescribed, the terms provide an initial purchase refund, separate from ordinary cancellation. Prescription products are final sale, with filling errors raised separately through support. Neither a blanket no-refund rule nor a full refund on all orders describes these terms.

Who fills the prescription and which states can Ro Body serve?
Affiliated practices provide care separately from the platform. Roman Health Pharmacy and partners, LillyDirect routes and some insured local pickup options do not identify one assigned dispenser. Ro Body excludes Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Virginia despite platform-wide all-state/DC licensing. Longer legacy compounded exclusions do not establish a current priced compounded offer. Supplies, fees and delivery depend on medication and route, rather than one universal kit or arrival guarantee.

Is the reviewed offer compounded or covered by insurance?
The October 2026 cash menu reviewed here consists of FDA-approved brands. General shortage-compounding terms do not establish active compounded supply or permanent closure. Membership remains cash-pay even when medication insurance navigation is offered for Wegovy pen, Zepbound autoinjector or Ozempic.
