QuickMD advertises a $99 GLP-1 consultation without a membership. Medication is extra and depends on the prescription, pharmacy and benefits. Completed visits are nonrefundable even when the requested medicine is not prescribed; missed or canceled visits follow separate credit and deduction rules.

QuickMD is useful to compare when you want a clinician visit and a separately filled prescription rather than an all-in compounded-drug subscription. Its weight-loss offer is $99 per consultation, with brand-name GLP-1 options and medication costs left to the pharmacy and your prescription benefits. QuickMD LLC operates the platform, and the terms name QuickMD Medical Group, P.A. for clinical care. The visit fee does not guarantee a prescription, a covered drug or an accepted pharmacy fill. Its public FAQ also describes eligible home delivery, so a blanket claim that the company never arranges shipping would be too broad. Confirm the selected service, follow-up visit cost and pharmacy total before booking.

$99 per consultation; medication costs extra. This is a visit fee, not a monthly drug package. Confirm refill visits, lab charges and the pharmacy price for the prescribed supply.

The commitment trap

The visit fee pays for clinical assessment, not guaranteed prescribing or an included medication supply. A completed consultation remains nonrefundable even if the requested drug is not prescribed.

Money you will meet later

  • The public weight-loss offer has no membership or long-term commitment. Established patients may qualify for a 90-day prescription; that does not guarantee a three-month supply, covered claim or included future visits.
  • Missed, canceled or unsuccessful visits initially receive account credit. Cancel at least one hour ahead to avoid a possible $35 deduction. Credits from paid visits can be refunded within 30 days of the original charge; promotional credits follow different rules.
  • Completed consultations are nonrefundable even if no requested medicine is prescribed. If the chosen pharmacy declines a prescription, the terms describe resending it to another pharmacy within 24 hours, without refunding the consultation.
  • Approved refunds are processed in 1–2 days, with another 3–7 business days for bank posting. Medication-credit provisions for direct-shipping services should not be treated as an automatic refund for a local GLP-1 fill.
  • Consultations are cash-pay. A visit summary may support a reimbursement request, and HSA/FSA eligibility depends on the plan. Drug benefits, prior authorization, testing and pharmacy charges require separate confirmation.

QuickMD LLC operates the platform; the terms name QuickMD Medical Group, P.A. for clinical services. Same-day and seven-day availability are advertised, with appointment and prescribing decisions conditional.

Bloodwork / labs

Tests may be required; funding unconfirmed

The FAQ says the team helps coordinate necessary testing, and an in-person assessment may be needed before prescribing. A funded GLP-1 lab panel is not established. Other services’ test-kit benefits should not be assumed included.

Pharmacy, labs and oversight

The pharmacy

Patient-selected or eligible delivery pharmacy. The terms describe pharmacy choice; eligible direct-shipping prescriptions may use QuickMD partner pharmacies, but no selected dispensing facility is established here. A prescription is not a guarantee that a pharmacy will fill it or that insurance will cover it.

Oversight

Established patients may qualify for 90-day prescriptions. A fixed GLP-1 follow-up cadence or included repeat visits is not established; ask when reassessment is due and what each visit costs.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Where you can get it

Weight-loss care excludes Louisiana and South Dakota. The current service table marks the other 49 state/DC jurisdictions available. South Dakota’s state popup offers no services; Louisiana lists other services but not weight loss. Confirm your actual location, identification and the selected service before booking.

The honest cons

The part they would rather you skipped

A completed $99 consultation is nonrefundable even if the clinician does not prescribe the requested medication or your pharmacy declines to fill it. The separate account-credit rules for canceled visits do not make that assessment refundable. Check drug coverage and pharmacy acceptance before paying for the visit.

Does the $99 fee include weight-loss medication?

No. It covers a consultation; medication is priced separately by the pharmacy and your prescription benefits. The weight-loss page lists brand-name GLP-1 options and no membership, but does not establish an all-in monthly drug cost. Ask about the actual prescription, dose, supply, pharmacy price and future visit charges.

Can I get a refund if the clinician does not prescribe what I want?

The policy makes completed consultations nonrefundable even when the requested medication is not prescribed. Clinical assessment is not a prescription guarantee. The terms also say a pharmacy’s refusal to fill does not refund the visit; a prescription can be resent to another pharmacy within 24 hours. Confirm coverage and pharmacy acceptance beforehand.

What are the cancellation and account-credit rules?

Confirm the route and dispensing facility for the selected prescription. Do not assume another service’s shipping, medication credit or delivery fee applies to your GLP-1 order.

Where is weight-loss care available?

The current weight-loss service table excludes Louisiana and South Dakota, with the other state/DC jurisdictions marked available. Availability differs by service: Louisiana has other care options, while South Dakota’s state popup offers none. Confirm the appointment location and identification requirements before booking; broad company coverage is not a guarantee of every treatment.

Are labs and ongoing refill visits covered by the fee?
