Nurx now publishes $79 for the initial consultation and $79 per month for continuing care, with medication extra. Brand-name pens go to a local pharmacy, while its $75 starting 3-in-1 capsule is a compounded non-GLP-1 treatment. These are different products and payment routes.

Nurx is useful for someone who wants a women’s-health-focused clinician to compare oral weight-management treatment with a branded GLP-1 prescription. Its value is continuing care: a provider checks in about two weeks after treatment starts, then manages progress, side effects and treatment changes with unlimited messaging. Clinical services come from KMG Medical Group entities, while Thirty Madison provides the platform and administrative support. The cost structure is explicit but needs three lines in a budget: a $79 initial consultation, $79 monthly provider support and the prescription itself. Some medicines may be covered by insurance; the care fees are cash-pay. Brand-name pens are filled and paid for at a local pharmacy. Nurx also publishes a Gifthealth delivery route for Zepbound single-dose vials on its 3-in-1 product page, with dose and refill-timing conditions. Its compounded 3-in-1 capsule contains bupropion and naltrexone with metformin or topiramate; it is not a GLP-1 and is not FDA-approved. The current public menu does not establish the older $179 compounded-semaglutide offer. This is a reasonable care model to compare if you want medication choices and ongoing messaging, but a free-with-insurance drug headline does not eliminate the recurring care fee. The commitment trap

Insurance may reduce a medication copay, but it does not cover the $79 care fees. The $75 capsule is a compounded non-GLP-1 medication, and brand-name pen prices are estimates for the lowest dose at a separate pharmacy.

  • The injection menu estimates Victoza from $650/month; Zepbound auto-injector, Ozempic and Mounjaro from $1,000; Wegovy and Saxenda from $1,300. These are average starting pharmacy prices without coverage, not guaranteed quotes.
  • The individual oral menu lists bupropion with naltrexone $60/month, metformin $15, topiramate $15–$30, and the compounded 3-in-1 capsule from $75. These are medication components, not the total cost of every prescribed plan.
  • The general weight page quotes oral plans at $60–$329/month; the 3-in-1 page quotes multi-medication oral plans at $60–$125. Ask which range applies to your actual prescription rather than treating the lower figure as universal.
  • The 3-in-1 page lists Zepbound single-dose vials at $349/month for 2.5 mg and $499 for 5 mg. It lists 7.5 mg and 10 mg at $499 when refilled within 45 days of the prior delivery; otherwise $599 and $699 respectively. Gifthealth bills/delivers and charges injection supplies separately. Confirm that route’s current offer.
  • Nurx says the 3-in-1 capsule is not covered by insurance. Lab coverage, lab prices and a baseline panel are not specified on the reviewed weight-care pages.
  • The general cancellation FAQ requires at least 48 hours before the next billing date; some weekend-related orders may bill/ship two days early. A completed clinical review is nonrefundable even if no prescription is approved.
