No. The limited-time $99 offer, compared with $379, is for an initial weight-loss assessment with clinician assessment, a 60-biomarker panel and a clinic InBody scan. The homepage excludes medication from monthly membership. Ask for the ongoing membership, medication and any other charges separately.
Can I use JumpstartMD entirely online in California?
Online clinician visits are offered throughout California, with Quest bloodwork, medication delivery and app tracking described. InBody scans and hormone-pellet services require clinic attendance. Confirm which services your proposed plan needs before assuming every component can be completed remotely.
What bloodwork does the online program use?
The online-care page names Quest Labs and screening of 60 biomarkers. That identifies the testing pathway, but does not tell you how often repeat tests are needed or what each will cost. Ask which tests are required for your treatment and whether they are included in your quoted plan.
How often should I expect appointments?
JumpstartMD recommends weekly clinician or coach meetings, while pricing depends on meeting frequency and individual goals. Its FAQ describes an initial coach visit for biometrics followed by clinician review after labs. A recommendation is not a guaranteed appointment allocation, so confirm the visits included in your membership.
Will PPO insurance pay for the program?
The published reimbursement route requires PPO out-of-network benefits, paid membership and at least two weekly visits per month. You pay at service and reimbursements go to you, subject to your deductible and plan; timing and payment are not guaranteed. The site describes HMO and Medicare as not covering the program. Prescription coverage is a separate question.
Can a 16- or 17-year-old join?
The FAQ says adolescents aged 16 or older may be treated case by case with parental consent. That does not mean every adolescent is eligible or will receive a GLP-1 prescription. Families should confirm the proposed care, clinician decision and payment terms for the individual patient.
