24hrdoc makes general visit pricing easy to find, but that is only one part of a weight-loss prescription bill. Its main pages describe consultation fees separate from medication and approved prescriptions sent to your selected pharmacy. The quarterly general-care subscription is expressly not intended for weight loss, and its visit allowance is described inconsistently. Weight-loss articles still discuss compounded medicines and home delivery, without settling a current drug-by-dose price or the arrangement for your order. Ask which service you are buying, what medicine is proposed, who dispenses it and what repeats before agreeing to payment. The refund policy provides useful early exit points before provider review or when no treatment recommendation is available; later requests are discretionary. The terms identify a nonclinical platform working with independent professionals, rather than assigning a treating clinician. The commitment trap

The low general visit fee and $40 quarterly subscription do not establish the cost of weight-loss care. The subscription expressly excludes weight loss, while medication and any treatment-specific recurring charges require a separate answer.

Money you will meet later

  • The $40-per-quarter general-care subscription is not intended for weight loss. Its page describes both unlimited visits without per-visit fees and three discounted quarterly visits with $20 follow-ups. Confirm the actual entitlement before purchasing it.
  • General subscription billing is described as every three months with cancellation anytime. A notice deadline, prepaid-period refund and any GLP-1 recurring arrangement are not settled by that statement.
  • The refund policy allows a requested refund after cancellation before provider review or when no treatment recommendation can be provided. Other requests are discretionary. The FAQ separately asks patients to report a consultation issue within seven days; it does not promise a seven-day unconditional refund.
  • Consultation services are self-pay and the platform does not file insurance claims. Pharmacy medication or testing may have separate insurance coverage; confirm your policy and bill. HSA/FSA-card acceptance is advertised, without guaranteeing tax eligibility.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. The honest cons

The part they would rather you skipped

FDA's February 2026 warning letter to 24HrDoc Inc. dba 24HrDoc, CMS 717984, addressed imagery implying the brand was the compounder and claims implying FDA approval or evaluation of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Current website disclosures do not establish regulatory closeout. The consultation fee also leaves the actual GLP-1 purchase and fulfillment terms unsettled.

Does the quarterly subscription cover weight loss or automatic refills?

What does the FDA warning letter mean for a prescription?

FDA's February 2026 letter, CMS 717984, concerns 24HrDoc's own compounded-drug labeling and advertising, including implying it was the compounder and implying FDA approval or evaluation. It does not identify your current pharmacy or establish the status of a particular fill. A prescription does not make a compounded medicine FDA-approved, and changed website wording does not establish FDA closeout. Ask for the exact formulation and dispenser before deciding on treatment.
