Provider review
50 Stars Health review
By Derek Olsson ·
Every plan priced up front, and one price at every dose
Semaglutide runs $146, $133 or $124 a month and tirzepatide $220, $201 or $183, depending on plan length, with the consult, medication, supplies and shipping inside the figure.
Straight talk: how we earn — some, not all, of these are affiliate links; start a program through one and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Straight about the rest, too: the write-ups say what each provider is actually worth, and a commission does not change a word of them. Full disclosure here.

The verdict
This is a broad telehealth platform that leads with compounded GLP-1s and publishes its whole price ladder before the intake. Semaglutide is $146 a month on the monthly plan, $133 on three months and $124 on six; tirzepatide is $220, $201 and $183. Every dose costs the same, and the consult, follow-ups, supplies and shipping are included. It also sells NAD+ injections from $159 a month and an NAD+ spray from $91. The catches sit in the billing terms: the advertised rates are the six-month plans, refunds are "not typically offered," and the subscription keeps renewing even if you never complete the steps that keep a prescription active.

Who it is for, and who it is not
A good fit if
- You want every plan's price before you answer a medical question
- You want a price that doesn't change when your dose goes up
- You may add NAD+ later and want one account for both
Look elsewhere if
- You live in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Indiana, South Carolina or West Virginia, where its GLP-1s are not offered
- You want a refund policy more definite than "at our discretion"
- You want the starting price without a six-month plan; month to month costs more
What it actually costs
What they advertise
Compounded semaglutide from $124 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $183 a month; NAD+ injections from $159 and an NAD+ spray from $91.
What you actually pay, month to month
$146 a month for semaglutide or $220 for tirzepatide on the monthly plan; $133 and $201 on the three-month plan.
The commitment trap
Every "starting at" figure is the six-month plan. Paying month to month costs $146 for semaglutide instead of $124, and $220 for tirzepatide instead of $183.
Money you will meet later
- Subscriptions renew automatically, even if you haven't completed the steps that keep the prescription active; cancel at least two days before the next billing date
- Refunds are not typically offered; a partial refund for any undispensed medication is at the company's discretion
- Medical evaluation fees are non-refundable once a provider has reviewed your information
Prices come from 50 Stars Health's own website and can change without notice — confirm before you buy. Work out what a vial actually gives you with our peptide dose calculator.
What is included
Compare the total cost, including fees and any minimum commitment. Here is what 50 Stars Health bundles in, and what it does not.
Clinician consult
A virtual consultation with a licensed provider is included in the plan price
Bloodwork / labs
Not addressed on the product or FAQ pages
Follow-ups and dose changes
Ongoing follow-ups and dose adjustments are included
anti-nausea or anti-constipation medication can ship with the first order if the doctor sees fit, with a review at three months.
Human support
Unlimited messaging with the care team in the patient portal, plus email support
Injection supplies
Included: injection supplies ship with the medication
Shipping
Free and temperature-controlled, usually three to five business days after approval
Pharmacy, labs and oversight
The pharmacy
Named in the terms: SevenCells is the designated fulfillment pharmacy unless you choose another where permitted. No 503A or 503B status is given. Its semaglutide is compounded with vitamin B12.
Oversight
Ongoing follow-ups and dose adjustments are included; anti-nausea or anti-constipation medication can ship with the first order if the doctor sees fit, with a review at three months.
Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Our guide to verifying a certificate of analysis covers what to ask for.
Where you can get it
GLP-1s are offered in 44 states plus Puerto Rico, listed on each product page. They are not available in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Indiana, South Carolina or West Virginia, or in Washington, DC.
The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
Each GLP-1 page says the subscription renews automatically "even if required actions to maintain an active prescription are not completed." Miss a check-in and the charge still lands, and refunds are "not typically offered," with a partial refund for undispensed medication left to the company's discretion.
- The lowest advertised prices require a six-month plan
- The semaglutide page lists strengths only up to 1.2 mg and says it may be taken daily or weekly without saying which
- Homepage testimonials are labeled "Verified reviewer" with no source given
- Disputes go to individual arbitration under Florida law, and class actions are waived
Weigh these trade-offs against the costs, care and terms above. For questions to ask before enrolling, see our vendor red-flags guide.

A provider comparison is half the decision. The other half is whether the compound does anything for you at all — and whether it is allowed where you compete. Growth-hormone secretagogues are banned in tested sport, year-round, and a prescription does not change that.
