The verdict

Wisp offers a clinician-reviewed weight-care route for branded medications, including oral and injectable Wegovy, Zepbound and Saxenda, alongside compounded sublingual semaglutide drops. These are different products and payment paths. The current FAQ prices the consult from $99/month, while the drops are advertised at $225/month for a 15 mL product. A branded prescription is an additional pharmacy expense. After three weeks, Wisp authorizes $99 before reviewing the first refill; completed check-in leads to the care charge for pickup or a combined check-in-and-medication charge for delivery. Confirm the drops’ exact combined invoice and later-dose price rather than automatically adding the two advertised figures. Monthly check-ins are explicitly described, with Care Team messaging between them. The published eligibility is limited to adults assigned female at birth, with additional clinical criteria. Availability also depends on the product and state: some branded-drug states permit delivery only, two permit local pickup only, and the drops have a shorter eligible-state list. The clearest clinical limitation comes from Wisp’s own disclosure: the particular sublingual formulation has tissue-test data but has not been tested in people. For local pharmacy pickup, care starts at $99/month plus medication. For delivery, the FAQ describes a combined check-in-and-medication charge without a complete branded-drug price table. Drops are advertised at $225/month with medication included under general billing help; confirm the final combined care/medication invoice and later-dose price rather than assuming $324 or a guaranteed all-in maintenance amount.

The commitment trap

The consult is not the branded prescription, and a 15 mL bottle price does not establish every prescribed concentration or maintenance-dose cost.

Money you will meet later

  • Wisp does not accept insurance for its own visits or prescriptions. A local dispensing pharmacy may check insurance coverage for a branded medication; that does not make the Wisp care fee covered.
  • After three weeks, a $99 card authorization precedes provider review. Once check-in is complete, Wisp charges $99 for pharmacy pickup plus the separate pharmacy medication bill, or the combined check-in/medication total for free delivery. The FAQ says this repeats monthly; authorization is not the same as a completed charge.
  • No complete public branded-drug dose-price ladder, startup discount schedule or prepaid weight-care term is established by the reviewed offer. Confirm the exact first and renewal invoices for the chosen treatment.
  • The sublingual product page says the lowest dosage is initially selected and a clinician may adjust it. It does not publish a concentration-by-concentration or maintenance-dose price table.
  • Laboratory testing is not itemized as an included weight-care benefit. General medical terms describe separately purchased third-party diagnostics; confirm any required tests, their cost and monitoring schedule.
  • Ondansetron is offered as an optional add-on, not an included anti-nausea allowance. Injection supplies for branded prescriptions depend on the product and dispensing pharmacy.
  • Subscription cancellation must reach Wisp at least forty-eight hours before the next refill or renewal period. The portal’s Subscriptions section or support can handle the request; retain confirmation.
  • All sales and fees are generally final, with no returns or exchanges. The terms permit discretionary remedies for specified fulfillment problems, rather than promising a refund for dissatisfaction or unused treatment.

Wisp provides the platform, while its third-party list includes Hemlock Medical entities, Beluga Health and SteadyMD. Those network names do not establish your assigned clinician or practice. The category’s eligibility FAQ limits this pathway to adults assigned female at birth and lists BMI and medical-history criteria plus a required photo; these are program rules, not a guarantee of prescribing.

The category also includes Arkansas for the drops, while both product FAQs omit it. Arizona, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin are delivery-only; Connecticut and Oregon are pickup-only. Sublingual semaglutide is listed in AK, CA, CO, DE, DC, GA, HI, ID, IL, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MT, NE, NV, NY, ND, OH, OR, RI, UT, VT and WY. Confirm the specific drug and location, especially Arkansas and oral Wegovy, rather than relying on the general all-50-states shipping headline.

The honest cons

The part they would rather you skipped

The sublingual option has a distinct evidence gap, not just a different delivery method. Wisp states that this formulation has not been tested in people. Neither tissue absorption findings, an approved drug’s trial results nor a pharmacy-category claim establishes equivalent safety or effectiveness. The branded route avoids that formulation question but still needs a separate medication quote.

Does the $99 Wisp Weight Care Consult include a branded prescription?

No. The current FAQ prices care from $99/month and says medication costs apply separately for local pickup or within the combined delivery charge. At three weeks Wisp authorizes $99 before refill review; after check-in it charges the care fee for pickup or the combined care-and-drug amount for delivery. Confirm the exact invoice for your treatment.

Are Wisp’s sublingual drops the same as oral Wegovy?

No equivalence is established. The drops are a compounded under-the-tongue formulation, not the branded tablet. Wisp discloses that its particular formulation has tissue-test data but has not been tested in people. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.

Can I receive Wisp weight care in any state?

No. The branded-injectable consult FAQ lists 39 states plus DC, while the category adds Arkansas. The category also adds Arkansas for drops compared with both product FAQs, so that state needs confirmation for either route. Are labs, follow-ups and anti-nausea medication included?

How do I cancel Wisp weight-care renewals?

Use the account’s Subscriptions section or contact support. The terms require cancellation to be received at least forty-eight hours before the next refill or renewal period. Check the next renewal date and retain confirmation; canceling does not promise reimbursement of a completed order.

Can I return Wisp medication or obtain a refund?

Returns and exchanges are not accepted, and fees are generally final. Support can review damaged, missing, unavailable or other problematic orders, but the terms make refunds discretionary. A replacement does not also create a refund, and dissatisfaction alone is not a money-back guarantee.
