The verdict
Walgreens offers on-demand weight-management care through independently physician-owned medical practices. Its October 2026 menu lists FDA-approved Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo. The useful distinction is separate visit and medication spending: a $49 assessment does not include a prescription fill, and the lowest savings-card prices do not cover every dose.

What you actually pay, month to month
Drug prices vary by dose; visits cost extra. Wegovy tablets: $149 at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg, $299 at 9/25 mg per 30 days. Injections: $199 for eligible first two 28-day fills at 0.25/0.5 mg, then Walgreens lists $349; manufacturer terms separately list HD 7.2 mg at $399. Zepbound KwikPen: $299/$399/$449 by dose per 28 days. Foundayo: $149/$199/$299 by dose per 30 days. Add visits.
The commitment trap
Wegovy introductory-fill eligibility ends December 31, 2026. Lilly offers also end December 31, 2026. Zepbound’s higher-dose offer requires refilling within 45 days of prior delivery; Foundayo manufacturer terms apply that condition specifically to 14.5/17.2 mg, despite broader Walgreens wording. The conditional Zepbound KwikPen offer permits up to 11 fills per calendar year; Foundayo permits up to 10 fills. Expiry does not establish a future pharmacy price.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Where you can get it
The dedicated weight-management page excludes Alabama. The general virtual-care page also excludes Louisiana for weight loss and lists broader restrictions; confirm your location before paying. The separate Medicare pathway excludes AL, DC, DE, KS, LA, MS, NM, RI and WV.

The part they would rather you skipped
Starting-dose savings can make the first fill look cheaper than ongoing care. Confirm the prescribed presentation, dose, refill deadline and pharmacy price, then add any $49 visits.

Questions about Walgreens Weight Management
Does the $49 Walgreens visit include medication?
No. Each assessment is separate from medication. Eligible commercial coverage or manufacturer savings may reduce the pharmacy bill; they do not make ordinary visits insurance-covered.
How long do the starting medication offers last?
Wegovy’s $199 introduction covers two eligible 28-day fills at 0.25/0.5 mg; redemption eligibility ends December 31, 2026. Lilly offers end that date too. Higher-dose Zepbound and Foundayo 14.5/17.2 mg purchase offers require refilling within 45 days of prior delivery; Walgreens describes Foundayo more broadly. Dose and presentation change the price.
What do follow-ups cost?
Follow-up chats and additional video visits cost $49 each. The service describes monthly checks during the first few months, with the actual schedule determined by your clinician.
Can I cancel or get a refund if no prescription is issued?
General virtual-care terms say the fee buys an assessment, so clinical nonapproval, a different drug recommendation or pickup problems alone do not qualify for refunds. Contact support before a clinician reviews the intake to cancel an unfinished consultation. No distinct medical-stop refund was established.
Are labs, supplies and shipping bundled?
No weight-management bundle for these costs was established. Walgreens delivery fees and medication eligibility vary; confirm fulfillment and any injection supplies with the pharmacy.
Who provides care, and is it available in my state?
Independent physician-owned Walgreens-branded practices provide clinical care; Walgreens Health Services supplies administrative support. The weight-management page excludes Alabama, while the general page adds Louisiana and other restrictions. Confirm eligibility; Medicare has separate limits.
