Provider review

Superpower review

By Derek Olsson ·

Annual testing membership, with medication extra

The principal membership is $199/year for one annual panel of 100+ biomarkers and access to additional services. Compounded semaglutide is separately advertised at $229/month for members only. Extra tests and at-home draw fees can add to the cost; cancellation closes marketplace and clinical access, while refund rights depend on the purchase.

Straight talk: how we earn — some, not all, of these are affiliate links; start a program through one and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Straight about the rest, too: the write-ups say what each provider is actually worth, and a commission does not change a word of them. Full disclosure here.

The verdict

Superpower combines an annual testing membership with a marketplace for separately purchased services and prescriptions. Its principal $199/year offer describes one blood draw with 100+ biomarkers, data tools and an action plan; it is not a complete GLP-1 treatment package. The member-only semaglutide page adds $229/month, without establishing the prescribed quantity, dose ladder or complete recurring invoice. This can suit someone who already wants the testing relationship and can compare the extra treatment costs. The contract deserves attention before joining: cancellation ends service and marketplace access immediately, prescriptions are nonrefundable, and the FAQ's no-refund answer omits the contract's limited initial membership-fee exception.

Superpower isn't on any of our comparisons yet. The providers we compare in this category are on our semaglutide provider ranking. Nothing on this page is a performance claim — see how semaglutide works for what the treatment does and does not do.

Who it is for, and who it is not

A good fit if

  • You want the annual testing and data tools independently of whether a clinician recommends a prescription.
  • You can budget for annual membership, medication and any additional testing as separate purchases.
  • You are in an offered jurisdiction and will confirm the specific prescription, clinician and pharmacy before payment.

Look elsewhere if

  • You want a medication-only plan without an annual testing membership.
  • You need every extra lab, at-home draw and prescription-monitoring cost included in one published fee.
  • You expect continued marketplace access after canceling membership or an ordinary refund for a prescription.
  • You live in one of the nine excluded states or need a guaranteed product-specific eligibility map.

What it actually costs

What they advertise

Membership is advertised at $199/year; member-only compounded semaglutide adds $229/month. The annual testing purchase and the prescription are separate, with any selected drug supply, extra testing and renewal charges still to confirm.

What you actually pay, month to month

$229/month drug plus $199/year membership. Spreading the annual fee across twelve months gives about $246/month for comparison, not a combined monthly invoice. Confirm the prescribed quantity, subscription cycle, extra testing and continuing price.

The commitment trap

The semaglutide offer requires membership, which is advertised as an annual purchase rather than monthly billing. Canceling membership immediately removes marketplace and clinical access. Separate prescription subscriptions have their own disclosed billing intervals, and paid prescription periods are not refundable.

Money you will meet later

  • The principal $199 annual membership advertises one comprehensive panel. Additional or repeat panels, imaging, functional tests and prescriptions sit outside the base fee; a separate promotion does not establish an included second annual draw for every member.
  • At-home collection has a separately disclosed fee. Missed, canceled or rescheduled at-home draws within 72 hours are nonrefundable and can trigger that fee; partner-lab appointments have different rescheduling rules. Confirm the actual location and booking charge.
  • Membership renews for a term equal to the chosen initial term at then-current nonpromotional pricing. Cancel before renewal to stop future membership charges; the selected initial term and later dollar amount need confirmation.
  • The initial base-fee satisfaction refund must be requested by the earlier of seven days after results become available or 45 days after membership starts. It excludes prescription, add-on and draw charges, and has first-term and enrollment-channel restrictions. The FAQ's ordinary no-refund answer does not explain that full legal exception.
  • Prescription products and payments for current or prior product-subscription periods are nonrefundable under the agreement. Membership cancellation is not an automatic refund or proof that every separate incurred subscription charge disappears.
  • The service does not describe ordinary health-insurance payment for membership. HSA/FSA eligibility and reimbursement depend on the plan, and some third-party services can have separate coverage arrangements; membership is not insurance or unlimited care.

What is included

Compare the total cost, including fees and any minimum commitment. Here is what Superpower bundles in, and what it does not.

Clinician consult

The semaglutide page describes physician review before prescribing

Superpower Health, Inc. operates the nonclinical platform; independent medical groups and clinicians provide professional services. No assigned practice, prescriber or fixed live-visit allowance is established by the general offer.

Bloodwork / labs

One annual panel of 100+ biomarkers is advertised

The principal membership describes one blood draw, with extra or repeat tests purchased separately. At-home collection has an additional fee. The semaglutide page mentions possible further labs without establishing their panel, funding or repeat schedule; a general annual panel is not a universal GLP-1 monitoring allowance.

Follow-ups and dose changes

The semaglutide page advertises weekly check-ins, adjustments and provider access

The exact included appointment entitlement and ongoing testing requirements need confirmation. Annual membership alone does not establish unlimited clinical care or immediate prescriber availability.

Human support

Concierge helps with coordination and general educational guidance

separately from medical care and the AI assistant. FAQ advertises replies within one business day or less; 24/7 access language does not guarantee an immediate clinician response or emergency service.

Injection supplies

The semaglutide page does not establish a complete injection-kit inventory

vial quantity or concentration. Confirm the prescribed formulation, equipment and instructions with the actual dispensing pharmacy rather than inferring them from a product image.

Shipping

The semaglutide page advertises free shipping

It does not establish one guaranteed dispatch or arrival date, supply duration or refill schedule; confirm the prescription and fulfillment terms separately from laboratory sample collection.

Pharmacy, labs and oversight

The pharmacy

Named partners do not establish your assignment. FAQ lists Strive Pharmacy, Belmar Pharmacy and Progress Pharmacy as possible fulfillment partners. No assigned semaglutide dispenser, independently verified facility category or lot-specific product report is established by that network list. Compounded medication is not FDA-approved.

Oversight

The semaglutide page advertises weekly check-ins, adjustments and provider access. The exact included appointment entitlement and ongoing testing requirements need confirmation. Annual membership alone does not establish unlimited clinical care or immediate prescriber availability.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. Our guide to verifying a certificate of analysis covers what to ask for.

Where you can get it

41 states plus DC; prescriptions have further limits. FAQ excludes Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming. Availability of the membership does not guarantee every prescription, test or clinician in a served state; confirm the specific treatment and physical location.

The honest cons

The part they would rather you skipped

The annual membership is the entry point to separately paid treatment, and ending it removes ongoing services immediately. The no-refund FAQ also omits the contract's limited initial base-fee remedy. That remedy has an earlier-of deadline and does not cover medication. Compare the annual access commitment, actual prescription quote and each cancellation obligation before treating the displayed $229 as the complete cost.

  • Annual membership is required in addition to the member-only semaglutide price.
  • The principal annual panel does not include every repeat test, at-home draw or prescription-monitoring cost.
  • Canceling membership immediately ends marketplace and clinical access, without an ordinary prescription refund.
  • The initial base-fee refund has a narrow earlier-of deadline and does not apply to every enrollment channel.
  • Named pharmacy partners and broad state availability do not establish the assigned dispenser or product-specific eligibility.

Questions about Superpower

Does $199 a year include semaglutide?

No. The principal annual membership covers testing and access features, while the semaglutide page separately advertises $229/month for members only. Adding $199 divided by twelve to $229 gives about $246/month as a comparison, not a combined monthly bill. The prescribed quantity, drug-subscription cycle, extra tests and actual first or continuing invoice still need confirmation.

How many blood draws and tests are included?

The current principal membership describes one annual draw with 100+ biomarkers. Repeat panels, other diagnostics and at-home collection can cost extra. A follow-up-test promotion does not establish a second included annual draw for every member. The semaglutide page also mentions possible further labs without specifying a universally funded monitoring panel or schedule.

What happens if I cancel membership or a prescription subscription?

Membership cancellation takes effect immediately and removes concierge, marketplace and clinical access, while historical data remain read-only unless the account is deleted. Cancel before renewal to stop the next membership term. A separate product subscription can be canceled through the account or support, but payments for current and prior periods remain nonrefundable; obtain confirmation for each subscription rather than assuming one action erases all charges.

Does the membership have a refund window?

The agreement allows a one-time initial base-fee refund requested by the earlier of seven days after results become available or 45 days after membership starts. It excludes prescriptions and other extra charges, renewal terms and certain third-party enrollment channels. Prescription purchases are not eligible for refunds. The FAQ gives an ordinary no-refund answer without explaining this legal exception, so confirm which terms apply to your enrollment.

Who prescribes and fills the medication?

Superpower Health, Inc. is the nonclinical platform. Independent medical groups and clinicians provide care; the semaglutide page describes physician review, weekly check-ins and adjustments without naming your assigned clinician. FAQ names Strive, Belmar and Progress as possible pharmacy partners, but not the facility filling a particular prescription or its independently verified regulatory category. Concierge coordination and AI assistance are separate from prescribing and emergency care.

Can I use every service in every state?

No. FAQ lists 41 states plus Washington DC and excludes Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming. Prescription and testing availability can be narrower within served states. Confirm the actual product, clinician, test location and any at-home collection fee; membership availability does not guarantee eligibility for every treatment.
