Shapely combines monthly video care with insurance or self-pay routes. The $49 self-pay membership is a first-month promotion; medication and labs cost extra. The lowest compounded-drug headlines come from three-month packages rather than the monthly medication option.

Zaghi Medical Inc. is the named operator, and the public team directory identifies clinical leadership. The main budgeting issue is the separate membership plus medication: monthly semaglutide starts at $139 before membership, while the $99 medication headline belongs to a three-month package. Published cancellation and medication-refund policies are available, with no partial-month membership refunds and no compounded-medication cancellation once ordered.

Monthly tirzepatide medication at $249/$299 makes $348/$398 with ongoing membership. These are advertised-price arithmetic, not a selected invoice; labs and other applicable charges remain separate.
The commitment trap
The $99 semaglutide headline is a $297 three-month package, not the $139 monthly option. Tirzepatide’s $166 headline is a $498 three-month starter package; refill and high packages cost more. Membership continues separately, and its $49 first month rises to $99. Insurance participation does not establish your medication coverage or complete treatment cost.
Money you will meet later
- Semaglutide three-month medication packages show $297 for starter or low-mid refill and $477 for high; tirzepatide shows $498 starter, $597 low-mid refill and $837 high. Confirm when the package total is collected and whether or when it renews.

The dispensing pharmacy is not named. Product pages describe a network of state-licensed 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies; the medication refund article mentions 503A. Neither establishes your assigned facility. Terms allow asking that a prescription be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. The part they would rather you skipped
Compare the complete membership-plus-medication arrangement. The $99 semaglutide and $166 tirzepatide headlines use three-month medication packages, while monthly medication choices cost more. Cancellation stops a future membership renewal; it does not create a refund for a partial month or an already ordered compounded prescription.

Is the $49 Shapely membership the complete treatment price?
No. It is the first self-pay membership month; ongoing membership is $99/month. Medication and labs are additional. For example, $139 monthly semaglutide plus ongoing membership is $238/month before any other applicable charges. The selected prescription and full payment schedule still need confirmation.
How do the monthly and three-month compounded medication options differ?
Semaglutide monthly medication is $139 low-mid or $179 high; three-month starter and low-mid refill packages are $297, and high is $477. Tirzepatide monthly medication is $249 or $299; three-month starter, low-mid refill and high packages are $498, $597 and $837. All require separate membership. Package monthly equivalents do not establish monthly charging; confirm collection and renewal timing.
Does Shapely’s insurance participation guarantee medication coverage?
No. Covered visits can still involve copays, deductibles or coinsurance, membership is separate, and medication coverage is a separate decision. Shapely advertises Medicare and major PPO participation plus help with authorization and local pharmacies; that does not guarantee your plan covers a particular prescription. Confirm the ongoing membership fee, visit cost-sharing and medication cost for your plan.
Can I cancel membership and get a refund for medication?
The recurring-payment consent says monthly membership renews automatically unless canceled before the period ends. Cancel by email or phone; the account closes at period end and partial months are not refunded. A separate help article says compounded medication cannot be canceled or refunded once ordered and cannot be returned. Confirm the order stage before payment; clinical rejection or a later need to stop has no distinct refund promise in those policies.
What visits, nutrition support and labs does Shapely offer?
Monthly video provider care and app/chat support are advertised. The insurance plan explicitly lists monthly dietitian visits; confirm the nutrition appointments included with a self-pay plan. Labs are separate, with uninsured testing advertised at $75 through Labcorp. Recent results from the prior six months may be accepted. Deleting an app account does not cancel membership or stop appointments, according to the privacy policy.
Where is Shapely available, and can I identify the pharmacy?
The current eligibility copy lists adults in California, Florida, New York and Texas. Its broader expansion is described as future service. Product pages refer to 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies without identifying the assigned facility. Ask which pharmacy would fill your prescription and verify its state eligibility. The public team directory does not establish which clinician will treat you.
