The verdict
Ivím Health's pitch is care rather than pills, and it is a good pitch: weekly app check-ins reviewed by a provider, unlimited provider access, functional health coaches, group coaching and a community, with dose adjustments made on real response rather than a fixed calendar. It also discloses the things this category usually buries — that the medication is compounded and not FDA-approved, and that its headline 46%-more-weight-loss figure is a cross-trial comparison and "not a head-to-head study". Two things are worth knowing before you commit, and commit is the right word. The advertised $75 is the medication line only, quoted on the same panel as "+ $74.99/mo Program Fee", so the real monthly figure is about $150 for semaglutide and $208 for tirzepatide. And programmes run 1, 2, 4 or 6 months — most patients start on the 4-month Jumpstart — with cancellation unavailable once one has begun.

What they advertise

What you actually pay, month to month
$149.99 a month for semaglutide and $207.99 for tirzepatide at the advertised rates, because the programme fee is a second charge rather than a footnote. The advertised medication rate is also a commitment rate: we confirmed on 2026-08-01 that it belongs to the four-to-six-month terms, and that the shortest term Ivím sold that day cost more per month.
The commitment trap
Two mechanisms stacked. The medication figure is quoted without the mandatory monthly programme fee that sits beside it, and it is the price of a longer commitment — while Ivím's own FAQ states that "cancellation is not available once your program has started", so the commitment is not one you can exit if the arithmetic turns out worse than the panel implied.
Money you will meet later

- Ivím's membership page prices the same continuing care line at "$75/mo", a third number for the same thing

The pharmacy
Not named — the patient journey says only that a provider "sends prescriptions to the pharmacy". No 503A or 503B designation appears. Ivím is straight about the product itself, though: "This is a compounded medication and is not FDA-approved. Compounded drugs have not undergone FDA review for safety, efficacy, or quality."

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved products, and a 503A pharmacy compounds for a named patient while a 503B outsourcing facility manufactures in batches under CGMP. Neither is a quality guarantee on its own — a named facility is simply a fact you can check, and an unnamed “partner pharmacy network” is not. The honest cons
The part they would rather you skipped
"Because GLP-1 medications are prescribed and shipped based on your selected program length, cancellation is not available once your program has started." That is Ivím's own FAQ, and it turns a four-month Jumpstart into a four-month obligation taken on the strength of a $75 figure that is really about $150 once the programme fee is added. The clinical headline deserves the same care: "99%+ of Ivím patients achieved meaningful clinical results" rests on two retrospective observational studies with meaningful defined as 5% or more of body weight, and the 46% figure compares Ivím's own study against a different published trial — which Ivím, to its credit, labels "Not a head-to-head study" in the small print rather than leaving you to work out.

Read this before you buy
A provider comparison is half the decision. The other half is whether the compound does anything for you at all — and whether it is allowed where you compete. Growth-hormone secretagogues are banned in tested sport, year-round, and a prescription does not change that.
